CSI’s Adult B’nei Mitzvah
2012 - 2013
A new Adult B’nei Mitzvah class will begin on January 8, 2012. This 1½ year training program is for adults who wish to add depth to their Jewish knowledge, find new insights in Jewish experiences, and gain important synagogue skills. During this period of time, the focus will be on skill acquisition with Cantor Zhrebker and Tamar Leventhal and on mastering of Prayers, Torah, and Haftarah, as well as reflection and study with the Rabbis.
Prayer skills will include Hebrew proficiency, Torah reading, leading Shacharit, Haftarah chanting, and instruction on how to write and deliver a D’var Torah.
