We are committed to providing the following for
our students:
• An environment infused with Jewish values so that they learn,
by example, how to conduct themselves as a mensch, an ethical human being;
• A positive attitude towards lifelong Jewish learning;
• A sense of their roles and responsibilities in participating in
our Jewish community through social action;
• The opportunity to explore the role of God, holiness and our Jewish
ethical system in their lives;
• A comprehensive understanding of, and appreciation for, the observance
of Shabbat, Jewish holidays and Jewish life-cycle events;
• A Hebrew program which focuses on gaining a working knowledge
of Siddur and Bible vocabulary to build fluency and confidence as they
participate in synagogue services;
• A fundamental knowledge of the Biblical narrative and an appreciation
for textual interpretation and the relevance of the Torah to their own
lives;
• The opportunity to develop a relationship to the land and the
state of Israel;
• A sense of the scope and continuity of Jewish history;
• Jewish family education experiences that can help make Judaism
an integral part of a family’s life.
