High School Program:

Congregation Shearith Israel has a wonderfully rich tradition of students continuing their Judaic studies after their completion of the Religious School program. To reach our goal of helping our students become knowledgeable, committed and caring members of the Conservative Jewish community we offer a program that includes Rabbinic studies, text studies, cultural studies and more.

Confirmation candidates (10th grade) must have attended the High School program or have been part of a comparable program to those who have studied continuously since Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Additional requirements for confirmation include the confirmation essay, which is to be written during the course of the 10th grade year and submitted before confirmation
