GPS Judaism: My Calling in Life: The International Chef of Homemade Judaism

Date:
January 30, 2010, 9:30 am to 12:00 pm

Location:
Beit Aryeh, the North Satelite of CSI

Description:
Noam will share why he wrote Haggadot, Shabbat, and Hanukkah seders. He will also explain how he envisions the development of empowered lay people to customize their own Judaism and make rabbis superfluous (in some interesting ways.) He will explain how rabbis will become resource facilitators.

Congregation Shearith Israel is proud to present the Bernard “Beanie” Siegel Scholar in Residence Program featuring Noam Zion.

This program is open to the community in an effort to share Jewish learning and to deepen commitment.
