Young Families
Congregation Shearith Israel has a burgeoning population of
young families. Our young families are important to us at Shearith and play
a vital role in the social and religious fabric of our congregation. We
have developed and continue to plan significant, joyous and meaningful experiences
for our young families for all ages. In addition to services geared towards
children's interests, a slate of new programs will begin this fall for our
young families.
I.T.S.E. Shabbat
An "In The Shul Experience" twice a month, for families with young children.
Bring the grandparents and siblings. Come for singing, storytelling and
prayer with your friends and Itzy.
Tiny Treasures Naming Ceremony
Once every year, the CSI family gathers to welcome the youngest members of our community in a heart-warming ceremony honoring them and their Hebrew names.
