The Shearith Israel community is alive with Shabbat celebration. Friday evenings, two family-oriented, traditional services are offered at our Douglas campus (in the Topletz Auditorium) as well as Beit Aryeh. Shabbat is welcomed with spirited singing, seating in the round, a participatory atmosphere, and a d'var Torah given by the rabbis. All ages are welcomed and the emphasis is on participation.

In Topletz, on the Douglas campus, Kabbalat Shabbat services begin at 6:00.

At Beit Aryeh Kabbalat Shabbat services begin at 6:30.

Friday Nights South Introduces "Pray and Play"
Every Friday for Kabbalat Shabbat at 6:15pm bring your children to play while you pray! In the back of Topletz Auditorium we'll provide the books and toys or you can bring your own.
