Cantor Itzhak Zhrebker
Cantor Zhrebker has studied under the direction ofCantor Naftali Herhtick, Cantor I. Eshel, and Cantor Louis Danto. Cantor Zhrebker has also received concentrated Cantorial education from Elli Jaffe, the musical director of the Great Synagogue of Jerusalem. He earned his Master’s degree in voice coaching, choir conducting, and solo performance from Odessa City Academy of Music. In addition to his beautiful singing voice, Cantor Zhrebker is a conductor, an arranger, and a composer. He has performed with Walden Piano Quartet, Russian Ensemble Kalinka, String Trio Les Amis, Marvin Hamlisch and The Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and The Dallas Opera with the cast of Tales of Hoffman. Cantor Zhrebker has brought a new spirituality to prayer at CSI through his outstanding music programs, his work with adult and youth choirs, and his innovative approach to High Holy Days and Shabbat melodies |

Cantor Sheri Allen
Sheri Allen is a member of CICA, the Cantorial Internship Program of the Cantors Assembly, and hopes to gain full membership into the CA in the fall. She studies with Hazzan Larry Goller from North Suburban Synagogue Beth El in Highland Park, Illinois. Currently the Cantorial Intern for Beth El Congregation in Fort Worth, she tutors Bnai Mitzvah students, runs a Junior Congregation service, teaches Religious and Hebrew school, and co-leads services monthly with Rabbi Ralph Mecklenburger. She also serves as Cantorial Intern for High Holiday Services at Congregation Beth Shalom in Arlington. She recently helped develop as well as participated in an interfaith healing service through the Crime Victims Council in Fort Worth. She is also a longtime volunteer for Meals-On-Wheels, and the Cook Children's Hospital Prayer Bear Ministry program. Sheri lives in Fort Worth with her husband Richard, and children Jeremy, Emily, and Rebekah.

Cantor Richard Cohn
Cantor Richard Cohn is a native of Pensacola, Florida, where he first began singing in services as a teenager. He graduated with music degrees from Louisiana State University and the University of Illinois prior to receiving his cantorial certification under the auspices of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. His performance experience includes appearances as a soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under such conductors as Claudio Abbado, Daniel Barenboim, James Levine and Sir Georg Solti. He has often interpreted the cantor’s part in Bloch’s Avodath Hakodesh (“Sacred Service”), including performances with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. From 2001 to 2007, he was president of the American Conference of Cantors. Cantor Cohn currently serves with Temple Emanu-El in Dallas, Texas. He and his wife, Marsha, have four adult children. |

Cantor Don Croll
Cantor Don Croll, a native of Buffalo, New York, has exceptional theatrical as well as cantorial credentials. In March 2003, he was recognized for his 25 years in the cantorate with an honorary doctorate in music from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, School of Sacred Music. While still a student there, he received the Benson Stahl Award for Liturgical Interpretation. Cantor Croll graduated from the school in 1978 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sacred Music. Prior to that, Cantor Croll graduated honors from the Ithaca College Theatre Department in New York. Cantor Croll’s career in music and theatre began in first grade when he played the role of Baby Bear in The Three Bears. Since then, he has appeared in on-and-off Broadway productions, California theatre, several touring productions, in cabaret and supper clubs, one-man shows, in concerts around the country and in Israel, and has performed on national television. His first CD, “HaMusica Noga-at Lalev, The Music That Moves Us”, was released last year. His latest CD, “Don Alan Croll, Live on Broadway, Addison, Texas!” will be released this year. He is a member of the Cantor’s Assembly and a past board member of the American Conference of Cantors.
He has served as Cantor of congregations in Nyack, New York; Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and Westminster, California; and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
