CSI Social Action
CSI organizes and sponsors the following social action programs. We also host blood drives and other events thru the year. To get involved, contact Mona Allen at mallen@shearith.org or 214-939.7318.
Sandwich Drive
Help relieve hunger in Dallas by sending sandwiches to the various shelters
in downtown Dallas. Twice per year, volunteers make sandwiches to be sorted
and delivered to the Shelter.

Food Drives
At Passover and the High Holidays we will be collecting food to donate
on behalf of Mazon-A Jewish Response to Hunger. Individuals are needed
during Passover, to deliver to Jewish Family Services any food that is
donated. During the High Holidays, individuals will be needed to prepare
grocery bags to be handed out on Erev Rosh Hashanah and to assist in the
delivery after Yom Kippur.
Please help us as we make Sunday dinner for Family Gateway Center. Family Gateway Center is the only family homeless shelter in Dallas and Shearith Israel hosts a dinner at the shelter a few times a year. This is a great mitzvah project for anyone who wants to put a smile on the face of someone in need.
