Congregation & Cemetery Locations

Before a Jewish community builds a shul or even a school, they are required to build a cemetery. From this we learn that  end-of-life issues, ritual  burial and cemetery service planning are an integral part of Jewish life. With a tradition of faithful service, Congregation Shearith Israel has provided Jewish burial and cemetery services for more than 130 years.

For more information about ritual Jewish burial, or to purchase cemetery plots in the North Cemetery at Sparkman-Hillcrest, please contact our Associate Rabbi, Rabbi Avi Mitzner.

A security guard will be present at Shearith Memorial Park on Dolphin Road on the last Sunday of every month from 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
