Shababa A Shabbat experience that invites every single person to engage in the magic and love of Shabbat and community. All meals include family-friendly menus, a play area and high chairs. Shababa North Beit Am at Levine Academy Fridays | 5:45pm Shababa South Fonberg Family Chapel Fridays | 6 pm Saturdays | 11 am Annual Edible Sukkah Build Build your own Sukkah with your favorite sweet snacks and then enjoy dinner with the Shearith commuity in our Sukkah. Simchat Torah Come sing and dance with the Torah! We’ll enjoy the Hakafot as we join together to bring joy into the new year! Enjoy dinner with the Shearith community after. Purim Shearith pulls out all the stops for Purim! Don’t miss our Family Megillah Reading and Celebration. Family Passover Seder Saturday, March 27 at 4pm In less than two hours, relive the Passover story, discover your inner child, and eat a delicious Seder meal. Rabbis Wallach and Roffman lead this light-hearted, spunky exodus from Egypt. |
Havdalah and Movie Night
Each January we gather to enjoy dinner and Havdalah, the beautiful ritual that ends Shabbat. Then stay and enjoy a popular family movie! Tiny Treasures A Shabbat experience that invites every single person to engage in the magic and love of Shabbat and community followed by our highly-anticipated annual celebration of new life in our Shearith community! We begin with Shababa, followed by our Tiny Treasures ceremony to welcome all new babies. That service begins at 11:45 am during the main Shearith service. Families of babies receive a Keepsake Book. Eat. Play. Move.
Sarah Kreditor Davis, MS OTR/L, incorporates sensory exploration, play, and motor development techniques to enhance your child’s skills in their everyday environment. Parents will learn a variety of ways to play to help develop motor skills, learn which milestones come next, red flags to look for, and the best toys to help facilitate new skills. Hosted by Sarah Davis and Chelsie Kastriner Members: $15/class. Non-members: $25/class.
