High Holy Days 5781
Although this will be a High Holy Days unlike any before, just as we do every other year, we will seek and find God this year. As always, we will gather as a community; even if this year we will not physically be together in our shul building. Instead we will transform each of our homes into the mikdash m’at, “small sanctuary,” that our tradition encourages us to create.
Online Sanctuary Portal
Shearith proudly welcomes you to our custom-designed, easy-to-navigate web portal, created exclusively for our community. As soon as you log on, you will be instantly transported! Come through our front doors and feel the warm light of the sacred garden streaming through the windows of Beck Family Sanctuary or step into Aaron Family Main Sanctuary and gaze upward at the stunning Ark. You will register for portal access by sanctuary. This will ensure you are in the correct room for our Zoom Schmmoze, and for our sanctuary-specific slideshow. However, you will be able to walk down the virtual hall and "step into" another sanctuary during our services.

Young Families and Youth
We’ve planned many special services and activities for our youth and young families!
You can watch services on-demand, when it is most convenient for your family, in our comprehensive video library on the Portal. Choose from services for Young Families (Infants – Kinder), Youth in 1st-3rd grade, and Youth in 4th-7th grade, and watch as many times as you'd like!
Additionally, we’ll offer Zoom gatherings for school-age children on Rosh Hashanah Day 1 and 2 and Yom Kippur.

In-Person Prayers Before The Ark
We are excited to offer you and your family the chance to continue our Ne’ilah tradition of offering personal prayers before the ark in both sanctuaries between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
Each member family will have a fifteen-minute window to enter the sanctuary privately. We are committed to giving you access to the most sacred place in our spiritual home in a way that is safe. Masks are required to come into the building.
