Enrollment for the 2024-25 school year at the Weitzman Family Religious School (WFRS) at Congregation Shearith Israel is OPEN!
At WFRS we care about creating a joyous and passionate relationship with Judaism for our students. Students learn about Jewish values, holidays, prayers, Israel, history, and our culture (to name just a few!) while focusing on how these areas connect to their lives today.
We prioritize building a solid Hebrew reading foundation to create strong Hebrew readers. With proper attendance and a handful of tutors, our students feel their progress and are incredibly proud of their Hebrew reading accomplishments.
Our rabbis and teachers are deeply invested in building relationships with each student and helping students have an inclusive nature of developing friendships with their peers. We are a school that accepts students of all abilities and are grateful that we can provide extra resources where all students can thrive, regardless of a learning difference or diagnosis.
We have programming for students and parents to learn about deep Judaic topics together while being led by a rabbi. Plus, there are opportunities for our parents to get to know one another better over casual family Shabbat dinners.

To register, the online enrollment form which can be accessed through your ShulCloud account HERE. Go to "My Account" and click "Start School Enrollment." Simply complete the form and pay the $85 registration fee to secure your student's spot. Scholarship funding is also available; please contact Cindy Embrey at [email protected] for the scholarship application. Payment plans are also available.
